Every summer as a child, I travelled to the Swiss mountains with my family. It was there that I first became aware of the human imprint on the landscape, and began to question how far we can, and should, intervene in the natural world.

That awareness continues to shape my work. Through photography, I explore the tension between our desire to preserve and control nature, and the inevitability of change and loss.
